The local cats do my head in too. The soil under our hedge is pretty much wrecked from cats shitting under there - and yes I've got a couple of sonic deterrents set up in the garden. If the garden were completely fenced in I'd have the dogs out there more often.
One of my ex-colleagues had his cat run over within a week of moving to a house on main road. I'd think carefully before deciding whether to let the little garden-ruining-bird-killing-****-machine out of the door unattended
My brother lived in London and now LA, and his cats never go outside. I also remember visiting one of my Uni mate's when he'd moved back with his parents - it was the first time I'd been down there. His parents had an expensive cat and that's exactly what they used to do. Watching someone walk a cat on a lead was really strange, and he absolutely hated taking it out! However...Section 8 said:You can keep them indoors all the time and train them to get used being on a lead to take them outside.
