I have just unearthed my childhood Star Wars T-shirt from 1978. There's no sign of a copyright or a company name, so its probably a bootleg item. It really took me back though. There's a photograph of me somewhere wearing it.
There may be a slim chance my T-shirt is official. The licensee trade list that I have from 1977 has Bennett Associates of Glasgow selling Badges, stickers, bags and T-shirts but considering that their badges and stickers were reproduced items from Factors in the USA, their T-Shirts probably were too.
Marks and Spencer are also listed as selling T-Shirts in the trade list, so my one might be an example.
So, has anyone got any vintage U.K Star Wars T-shirts, or maybe pictures wearing them as kids?
