Genuine or Reproduction Packaging?

Any Scout Walker experts out there? There's a lovely At-St up for sale, and the packaging is immaculate. It's listed as original but with the wave of brand new inserts about, is it too good to be true? Are there any tell-tale signs?

I've uploaded two pics below. The item listed and some replica packaging.

It's reproduction at that price, tell the seller to take the AT-ST away and turn the gas on. :D

Only joking, on the gas hobs One I'm not sure. But the bottom one is repro.

Looks fine to me, if i'm not mistaken I think the OP means the top image is of the item for sale, and the pic below it is an example of a repro box.

The one in the top image I believe looks okay, the walker itself is also immaculate so i'm guessing it has been carefully stored away somewhere since new.

Looks very fine to me, such a lovely item in pristine condition 8) I think even the inlay is original, must be from some one who took very good care of this item

It looks ok to me. I have the exact same one with the edit: trilogo also in very clean condition and I have seen a fair few of these pop up over the years. It could be that these were made in large numbers or that at some point some shipping boxes full of them were split and found their way to market. Just a theory. Insert looks ok but difficult to tell for sure.

Agree with the rest of the chaps, looks good, insert also looks good, slightly different grade of card used which you can just about see.

Loads of Scout Walkers like this around, although finding them in good boxes like this is getting harder.

He pulled the listing. Got the jitters as not enough early bidders. Damn shame!

Send him a message and tell him how much you're prepared to pay for it, and say if he sets up a BIN listing then you'd buy it straight away.

That's worked for me a couple of times 8)

It certainly is in the condition of a replicator box :!: If genuine original, that is how U wanna find em

He relisted it and I won the auction. It turned up in the post today, looks original and aside from a faint whiff of smoke am well pleased. :D

It even had the top insert. Just a little bit of edgewear on the top flap and a mark where the price sticker has been partially removed.
