So there is a third and final chapter to this story.
A story which began in the early 80s and came to light in 2014. Well almost exactly 6 years after the original discovery I recently had one small treat.

I went to my parents house a couple of weeks ago to say goodbye to them prior to me going away with work for a bit. To my surprise they presented me with this little chap! They had been having a kitchen/extension makeover and a workman discovered this whilst demolishing a wall. Lord knows exactly where he was, but he's back with his original gang now!

The Luke from the original find (my first figure) now follows me around the world whenever I deploy. He's with me now also!

I thought that you might appreciate a nice find during a time of shite news.

Very cool Jez! I have often wondered if builders ever found all the figure we put down a hole in the floorboards in our old house in Lincolnshire.
