He wouldnt at home and had to call a friend to go take them. The picture as I have said 1000000 times but no one reads, is the pic was to show we had them, wasnt the final pictures. I said email for details and more, meaning i would email better pic when i got them. I am sorry i didnt make that clear. People act like i said, here are the pic, now paypal me 30k lol

Maybe so, i was just trying to pass along contacts. and he was trying to be a nice guy and teach more about dealing but things got crazy. I did wrong, he did wrong, some here done wrong. You live and learn.

WTF! I go out for a few hours to Ikea to buy a rug and all hell breaks loose with this thread!

I really don't know what to think as it does seem strange that someone joins this forum and then lists a complete set of Palitoy 12 backs. From reading through all the back and fourth I can see that it's not being advertised by the seller/owner of them but for someone with so much experience in selling (Jordan), it does seem like a strange way to go with a $30k set of rare figures. I always thought he traded at shows and not through the internet but then again I'm only stating what I've seen from his show.

I can see why this site would have been targeted as it's mainly UK collectors here and Palitoy is the brand we grew up with. That said though I still don't understand why Jordan wouldn't have wanted to represent this collection himself knowing that people would have a lot of questions to be answered before handing over that kind of money. If he does have this collection then maybe it would be better for him to list them with the clear images and answers to the questions people will have. I think putting the pictures up that were originally supplied with a note saying please email me for more info was the wrong move. If these items were going to be rephotographed anyway then why not just wait a day or two until they could have been done properly? It should have been obvious that there were going to be a lot of questions and people would really need to know the quality of the collection.

I'm still wondering about the possibly missing footer for Luke which I'm almost 100% certain never would have been packaged this way by mistake. I would also like to know where this collection came from as it's from the UK originally but is now owned by someone in the US. I know there are plenty of variant collectors out there in the world but it would be good to know if they were bought on a trip to the UK or maybe it was an English collector who moved to the states. Also looking at the quality (as best I can/could) I've seen over half of these go for around the 300 pounds mark in good shape and the rest are all probably under the 1000 mark in top condition except for the Luke and Chewbacca. I don't remember seeing a large head Han in there and the last pin head went for around 800 recently. The price seems just too high and especially with it being sold as a bulk lot I would have thought there would have been a more discounted figure. I estimate them at about 11-12k (UK pounds). I know people always go in high at first but with the condition they're in I feel that's probably a more realistic value. It's just my opinion and it doesn't sound likely that they'll ever be offered here anyway but I thought I's just pass on my thoughts.

Kenner_babe asked for a valuation based on them all being C9, advertised them RS as C8-C9. Some of them may be south of that, hard to tell without better pictures. I think the asking price is too high so she hasn't done a great job in getting a decent valuation for them. Still if you need a Chewie, you need a Chewie...
