Framing film ESB cells

I have got hold of a truck load of ESB film cells from the 90s run of the film. I want to frame them but do not want them in one of those frames where they just appear as black cells due to no light from behind the cell. I could put a light source in there but its a lot of work to do that. Anyone got any experience of framing cells. Thinking about a display frame.

Any suggestions that don't involve much work the better

two pieces of clear acrylic and press them between, when you mount it on the wall use metal spacers so light gets behind.

then either natural light will shine through or standard simple lighting will work.
