My favourite might be Jedi. But you asked which was the best and i think that's undoubtedly Empire. Hard to separate the 3 tho for me. They're all brilliant.

Sums it up pretty well for me an all.
As a kid I loved Jedi because of all the space ships and space battles (more than in the other two).

As others have said hard to look past Star Wars as it started it all but it's always going to be Empire for me - favourite film and favourite period of collecting as a kid

I like different scenes rather than whole films

The first bit of ANH is iconic. There's that whole scene with the Star Destroyer and the first view of Vader, followed by the OB1 meeting and then Cantina scene. Love that

Empire is just loads of great bits but the Hoth battle id amazing.

I agree that the first half hour of Jedi is brilliant. Quite like scenes with the Emperor in as well.

So hard to pick :? It's between Empire and Jedi

The Empire Strikes Back is the best movie.

The music is fantastic in that movie and there is a lot of great scenes in that movie. The best scene is when vader tell luke that he is his father

Han and Leia fall in love and luke meet yoda for some jedi training 8)

Awesome battle scene on hoth.

The first time we see the emperor and Lando Calrissian.

Vader kill Ozzel and Needa :lol:

Also the first time we see vader without his helmet :lol:

The first time we see yoda and boba fett. (In the 90s boba fett was also in episode IV).

and the first time we see vaders command ship Executor :shock:

Jedi is the film I have most memories off, film and toys

Empire has the best storyline 8)

A New Hope kick started it all off and introduced us to this beautiful world

On the basis of best film it's Empire, it really has the wow factor. Could easily change my mind tomorrow and go for Jedi :lol:

Great thread idea, as a kid I loved jedi as a sulky teen I liked empire and as a fat baldy late 30 something I love ANH so ANh gets my current vote! Who knows in another 30 something years I might be pissing and pooping myself and voting for AOTC!
