ROTS is the best of the Prequels by a huge margin, but cannot be compared to the OT in any way

Empire Tops it for me! The Darkness and adventure of that movie is in a class of its own 8) and the Hoth battle between the AT-ATs & Snowspeeders seals the deal 8)
Star Wars is a close 2nd being the original movie of course and some of the scenes with Alec Guinness r among my fav of both trilogy's

Jedi is Special for me because it was the only one I saw first in the Cinema back when it came out and is to this day and no doubt for ever more my best experience ever in a Cinema 8) 8)

Just wish I was taken to Cinema to c Empire for the first time :roll:

For the record, Phantom is the best of the prequels :!: but love Ian McDiarmid's performance in ROTS 8)

Star Wars for me, it kick started everything. I just love it, the design of the ships, droids and creatures, the great sound and music, and of course special effects. And a timeless story.
Empire comes a very close second, Jedi was ok, nowhere near as exciting as the first two.
The prequels all suffered from poor scripting, direction and acting, I've little time for them.

Empire all the way for me! Everything just works in it.

It's probably the least ruined by 1990s tinkering as well.

That, and the fact that you didn't have the Caravan of Courage in the list :shock: :wink:
