Hey all

Not your usual type post, but thought I would offer them up here b4 I put them up for sale elsewhere in case any of you are thinking about a new pet for the family.

I have 2 bitch puppies which a Tri colour collies pure bread, the male is from a long standing blood line & his father has won countless sheepdog trials over the years, they parents are both our own family pets & are of good temperament as are the puppies, they are smart dogs & learn quickly with the right training & are fairly low maintenance as far as dogs go.

I will be putting them up for sale @ £130 but am offering them to you guys first @ £100 as I would love to see them go to folks I know, they will be available in about 2 weeks & are for collection from north Wales or I can bring them down to Leicester between 30th & the 2nd when I will be there.

Both parents below, male is broken coated & the female smooth coated with one blue eye.

Too cute! Good luck with the sale Frank, we would love to take one but our little girl is too young for a pet - maybe in a few years!

My god they are so cute. Have always wanted a dog but just don't have the time or money to have one at the moment. Good luck with the sales Frank, absolutely beautiful.

The guy at my local kebab shop is always looking for puppies. He goes through 'em pretty quick.

They are beautiful pups there Frank, their parents look like great dogs too.

Must be hard to give em up mate, best of luck and I hope they get good homes.

Thanks for all the kind words guys & Ryan, yeah its so difficult to let them go, the male pup is such a pleasure, he is so playful & affectionate & bloody smart to go with it, I will miss him soooooooooooooo much when he goes, luckily a friend wanted a pup & was going for one of the bitches, but I have convinced them that the dog really is the pick of the litter, though all 3 have fantastic temperaments.

Just put them up on gum tree early hours & got an email this morning saying the add saying its been taken down as they are working dogs :? rectified & re posted (with luck)

Frank they look brilliant. I grew up with a border collie and she was amazing. Always on the bloody go and if she had a ball say goodbye to about 6 hours of your life!

I would take one of these off you in a heartbeat but what with work and the dog we've got currently I don't think it would be fair. I am GUTTED

Your two dogs remind me of a comic strip we have in this part of the world called Footrot Flats. It's a New Zealand comic strip done in the 1980's by Murray Ball and probably my all time favourite. Scuse my ignorance as I'm not too sure how well know it is the UK but it is a fantastic strip and well worth reading if you haven't. It's set in Rural NZ on a farm and it's a pisser of a read.

Very nice Frank.
Best of luck with the sales.

I don't think the photos of the person flicking the "V" will help your cause though dude

nice hounds mate ,i got two spaniels so no chance on another though very well priced .and i must add anyone who is thinking of getting a dog get a working breed ,collie ,spaniel, lab, beagle etc .even if you never plan on working em they make the best dogs by far.

make sure they find good homes ,to many people out there crossing breeds to make money and just keeping dogs in kennels all there lifes .

good luck with sale

Yeah always had working dogs, I always think if a dog has no purpose then what is the point?.

All now in very loving new homes, all have gone to families with several children & near open ground for those all so important long walks.

Thank you so much for your kind words.
