Nice photos guys! love the luke tats and the han hoths! and that green bagged chewie is very unusual.

Here is a picture i am trying to do for my collection, the first is Yoda.

 That is one of the coolest Yoda sets I have ever seen Adam

What's next on you list to pick up?

they are cool 8) 8)

I've never really been tempted to buy bootlegs...until now - they look excellent! Is pig nose an official term?

what's the COO on the top toys one?

Top toys has no coo.

Bootlegs are definately the way forward, for every variation collector I think. Well for me it was anyway, a simple transition from collecting colour variants to then collecting Uzay (as Uzay are the closest bootlegs to liscensed figures IMO) - polish etc. I haven't even started on model trem or PPL yet but i'm sure I will one day.

I would love to pick up the missing Uzay/Polish/Hungarian I would like to complete my sets, there is no rush though

Oh Spoons, The Pig nose is definately a term used by collectors to call the Hungarian Yoda as it does have a small pig like nose, there are 2 variations of the pig nose yoda. I dont know who makes it official or not, but yes its a pig nose.

you wouldn't want to meet those Polish Leia's on a dark night

great stuff Adam - one more question what's billiken?

The Billiken line is a controversial line of bootlegs thought to be produced in south America, particularly Argentina whereby they are thought to be vending machine promotions. thats my take on them anyway, if anyone else that reads here would like to chime in on what they have manage to decipher then please do.

Adam
WOW!!! thats a nice set of figures you have there how do you know that the polish ones are genuine? and are they easy to get hold of?
Really like the Luke X wing ones.

If you ever want to sell that Top Toys Yoda let me know !!

I'm not a major fan of bootlegs due to the condition of some of them but the Leia with Biker Scout arms is one of the weirdest things I've ever seen !!

Couple of pics of my Biker scout variants so far

Adam, what's the story with the unart bootlegs, why are they so different from the other ones?

I love the turquoise Biker Scout !! 8)

The trouble with the standard ones is they all look virtually the same. :?

There's loads of Polish guys at work so I might ask them to bring me some back the next time they go on holiday !!

Those bootlegs look excellent Adam 8) I'm very tempted to start buying some. Would love to get my hands on a Hungarian version.

Thats the things, i'm predominantly a variaiton collector but mainly go for noticable variations, I like the fact that people look out for minor sculpt differences/COOs and paint alterations, although I found bootleg collecting to be a natural progression, what happens when you have all the major variations and there is only a couple of minor ones left on the list? Nothing to collect.

Nothing excites me more than the prospect of picking up a mint Uzay or finding a really nice Polish boot with nice colours to add to the collection!
