I have heard about a test called the "float test", does it work and what do I do?

Ok, well firstly this is an older method of testing against repro weapons, although it can act as a good indicator it is not 100% accurate in all cases.

The basic idea of this test is that original weapons due to the plastic they are made out of will float if dropped into water as opposed to repro weapons that should sink.

Note - We are currently complying data as some Original Weapons Float and other Sink and the same applies to REPRO's as well!

For example - An Original Amanaman Staffs SINK but the NEW High Qaulity Amanaman Staff Floats where as An Bikerscout Blaster Floats and the New High Quality Bikerscout REPRO Sinks!

There make sure you check the details on The Imperial Gunnery to find out how this test apllies for a specific weapon!

Sounds good I guess. Unless the Jawa works the other way :?
Combine it anyway with a few tests, like the drop and check it over for detail in the mold.
Post a pic would help also

You can also check against this list: http://www.loresdelsith.net/rincon/armeria/index2.htm
