Hi guys Well he has accepted my buy it now offer of £250. I first offered him £175 then £250 and he accepted it!!!!!!!!!! just waiting for the invoice. In the doghouse with my Mum LOL. My first life time ambiton achieved! Next its AFA Jawa.

I brought the rare dent in boot version. Does this make it even more valuable? Thanks Liam

Here is the item no- 260807056399 (not sure how to post links) Could some help me out thanks Guys

cool ,, word of warning which has been said many times on here,,, dont count your chickens.

Wait till you have the deal done and the snag (item) in your hand before posting links,, folk on here are cool but others browsing might look up your item and make a higher offer, and your seller takes it and leaves you stuck.
its rare but it happens.
Wait till you mug the postman ,, then it is yours. :)

Very wise words!

He's accepted your offer Liam...but not ended the listing...what's going on there then :?

i MAY HAVE TO TAKE YOUR WISE WORDS BECAUSE HE PULLED OUT OF THE ****IN SALE AT THE LAST MIN GUYS i ****IN GUTTED BUT DETERMINED IN WIN IN AUCTION!

Its a bit like buying a house, never celebrate until you have the keys in your hand and your through the door!! Gutted for you mate but unfortunatly there are people out there that dont give a **** about who they **** around.

Don't give him your money Liam as he has ****ed you over.

Like the guys here I'd say wait for a nice ungraded one which will pop up eventually.

To answer your question about the dent/no dent thing. Don't think there's any difference in rarity.

:x Liam , thats the problem, we are not the only folk on these boards and anyone can view the posts, i am not saying anyone on here would undercut another member (i f**kin hope so) but anyone browsing could.

As the lads said just find another and wait till you have it in your hand, deal done and then allow your excitement to go nuts.

I won something on ebay last week for 99p and i am trembling with excitement to put it up an go whaaahoooooo but i am waiting until it is in my house and feedback has been left and done.

But it is frustrating nonetheless.
:?

Jeez thats triple what I paid for mine

I understand the security of a graded piece when you are quite new but I think if you think 250 is a lot of money you should probably try to get an ungraded one for 100-120 in tip top condition mate.

Spend those pennies wisely in the beginning, trust me!

you should be able to get a C8 one for around £50 - £250 is way too much. A lucky escape in my view :)

Thanks for all the comments guys. Sound advice. You know what I gonna learn from mistakes and sit tight and let the auction run its course and see where it takes me from there. Thanks again liam

I too am sitting tight on an eBay BIN, not a blue snag I hasten to add! Going to see if the item has been marked as ended now!

250 is way too much as has been said before on here. Take into account the cost of grading as being maybe £30 all in. That would make the loose figure £220?? I think not. Definite lucky escape mate.

Yeah £150 would be absolute top price for a graded Snag imo. That's if it's a high scoring one too!

The going rate for AFA Blue Snag's are:
AFA 80 £175-£200
AFA 85 £220+
AFA 90 £400+

It's been this high for a long time  I bought an AFA85 in 2005 off Todd (Bluesnagman) for £210

If any of you guys are considering selling high grade AFA Blue snag's for £150.....I'll buy them all day long :D

At least £100 for an acrylic case and someone to tell you that your snag is nice but his left boot is a bit scuffed :p

My view is always wait for auctions to end, never contact the seller offering a price. You offered him £250, but if you let the auction run you may have won it for say £175 and if he hasnt got a reserve on it then your quids in.
No point paying out more if you dont need to.
