Added a Palitoy 45A Rebel Soldier to my Palitoy run thanks to Todd G Iganti (picture 1, on the right)

There are few figures which have 2 different sub variations of this card.

The 45A variation has the writing under the Palitoy logo directly on the card background image. (picture 2)

The 45AB variation has the writing on a black background under the Palitoy logo. The font in the blue circle offer is also different. (picture 3)

I have found 4 figures with both variations so far:- Rebel Soldier, Luke Bespin, Han Bespin and 4-LOM. (picture 4)

Does anyone have any other examples? Please let me know!

Here's the simplified view of my palitoy matrix. If it has an X in the 45AB column we're looking for an example which is just background image under the Palitoy logo. If the 45AB column has a - in it then we are looking for an example that has a black rectangular box under the Palitoy logo. We have 4 figures which have both 45A AND 45AB examples so far:- Rebel Soldier, Luke Bespin, Han Bespin and 4-LOM.

Trawled through my stuff and all my old pics and the only two new additions to your list that I could find are these. I'll keep looking....

Had a root through a few cardbacks and these seem to fit the bill(?)... All three are 45 backs at least - hope they are right and of use Jason.

Only got one 45. Here's a snap in case it helps. Not sure how easy it will be to identify the variation on this card's already black background.

Thanks everyone.

That adds TFP 45a to the existing 45ab we have on the matrix.

And the 45ad R5D4 to the existing 45a. Haven't seen any figures with both a 45ad and 45a before. There are probably more examples of this! The 45ad has a spelling mistake Leichester on the back so it makes sense this was corrected. It looks like only the first 20 characters and fett could have had the spelling mistake so it's likely these are the only cards that could have a 45ad and 45a variation. I always like being proved wrong though!

Glad I can help.

The next three were part of the same batch I picked up 6 years ago. It's interesting how the backs were all printed offset along with the Leichester spelling error. It's amazing they got out of QC. Like you said these must have been a very early batch.

The cards with Leichester on the back seem to be only on that card variation 45ad bar R5-D4. Am still looking for other examples but haven't found any yet.
