Jason

awesome, thank you Jason :)

Ok guys Jason has given permission for me to discuss the items I remember seeing:

A Darth Vader suit worn in Jedi. It is so impressive.
Quite a lot of NASA items from various missions and training props
Red Dwarf items including rimmers H, some of the wooden soldiers, 4 pack of leopard lager, windscreen from the blown up star bug, polymorph
Indiana Jones hat and whip, sword used to cut the rope bridge, wooden chalice,
Lots of SW stuff of course, the gun from ANH which is carried by the Stormtrooper as they enter the docking bay, many helmets, a broken piece of Biggs' helmet
Lots of WW2 relics
Various SW stuff like both robots from black hole, terminator and aliens stuff.
A good 1000 carded figures in boxes. As a side note how Jason stores these figures you could get 25000 in an average sized storage room no probs.
And probably umpteen things I've missed or forgotten.

He also has but I didn't see

Greedo, Bossk mask (apparently in a bad way now), Red Dwarf model, Craig Charles shirt from RD, Toddhunters shirt from RD, Luke's farmboy jacket, Hans ANH medal (there was a story to this which he told a few and I've forgotten), contracts from the big 3 from ANH, lots of versions of Lucas's handwritten scripts for ANH, .... and again many things I don't recall.

Sounds like a right Aladdin's cave. A lot of the other items like the Red Dwarf props are almost as impressive to me as the Star Wars stuff. From what you are describing a lot of these SW props were at Elstree in the display.

I would love to hear more stories from JJ about his collecting. In a way I wish the cardback issue would resolve itself so we could hear more tales :)

Another great weekend.
Having a sit down curry with 9 like minded lads was brilliant, increasing numbers to 10 in the pub afterwards by Mr Tree joining us capped off the evening. All that was left for us to do was try to excitedly fall asleep in the motorhome at 2am whilst those still conscious were going through the alphabet of star wars figures. I can't believe that Madine wasn't allowed for M and Vader for V!
The motorhome middle of the night bum trumps were fairly fruity!
A shed load of vintage awesomeness for sale on Sunday.
The whole TT/JJ/FF conspiracy theory was the big topic for debate over the weekend.
So busy Grant forgot lunch.
The presentations were really interesting. I know know about Kubricks (9 bricks) and the difference between a LL and Kenner 12" Luke.
Dave's big unveil of the Tri sheet stole the show though.
Utterly, utterly brilliant meeting so many more guys over the weekend. I totally agree with Dave that the Saturday night made this FF extra special.
If i can make the next one, i'll be there. This side of June please as i may be going away in July until the New Year!

Please please please give us the date for FFV as soon as you know Dave, the motorhome is already getting loads of bookings for 2014, the Falcon needs to stay as the official SWFUK vehicle.
Thanks very much.

I can only echo what the rest of the guys said here. It was a great day and lots of great chats. Obviously a massive thanks to David Tree and all the folk working there. I do think Lee Bullock deserves a special mention also for working his nuts off to get his presentation sorted after the text was lost! Great presentation Lee. Very informative and your knowledge of this area really shone.

Nice one guys. Looking forward to the next one.

It was a good day, great to meet up with several people who I haven't seen for a while, some great unveils (some intentional others not) an its not the first time I've heard Lee telling people about his 12 inch interests.

I Look forward to the next one.

With the help of everyone, I've created a little montage of the event, who doesn't love a montage?

Put some theme music on and take a look:

I quite agree, I love a montage. Super stuff Dave, I won't be missing the next one.

Barry, I recognise most of the line up from your group shot, but any chance you could do a left to right 'who's who'? Would be good to put names to all the faces.
