Met Limahl in Wigan. My wife knows Kenny Baker and has his phone number :?

Bill Bowmont lived near me when I was a kid. When we were hanging around the shops as teenagers he walked past a few times and would say 'alright lads'.

Had the blonde twins from Big Brother in the bar i was DJIng in last night. And last week Mutya from the Sugar Babes.
Had Birds of a Feather being filmed down at the shops near were i live last month.
I should do a monthly one of these. There's always some C-lister hanging about. I must say in London no one tends to bat an eyelid unless it someone super exciting. The list of famous people i've seen or met over the last 10 years is longer than my arm.

Soon to be famous. Cool 8)

I don't think Kenny would like pissed SW fans phoning him at all hours  Sell the number to the highest bidder

To many to mention, but that's living in London for you. I spent a decade working in the west end so bumping into 'celeb' types is very common. I actually went to school with quite a few very well known actor sorts but that isn't a claim to knowing them as such. In the 90's played played rugby for one of the largest clubs in the world (in my opinion anyway :) ), I think at one point there wasn't a member of our 1St XV that didn't represent their country and a fair few British Lions.

I Did have an odd one the other day, I exchanged hello's and enjoy your breakfast comments with Mark Owen over coffee and had no idea who he was, my wife had to tell me who he was after the fact.

I fly to LA a lot as well and the list of people I seem on the plane is just as long, but I refuse to say anything to them as I just dont think it is fair to pester people who are just going about, although I did get a wry smile and a nod of the head from Simon Pegg at LAX a few years back when we were sat on oposite tables at a burger bar and I was nursing a very large Y-Wing and Rancor under my arms.

you a big rugby name star wars collector then

Ha, not at all, I was a kid when I joined the club, only got to warm the bench for the second team once, otherwise I was just a youth and development player for a few years. But as with all sports clubs there are no airs and graces, one club house and all that, plus that was back around the time the sport went Pro so it was a different world.

Not sure I'm even a big SW collector these says either :)

Ummm, recently?

Had a splendid cycle ride with Graham Coxon from Blur on a recent Tweed Run.

In the past couple of weeks: I was stood side by side with Sinitta at Joe & the Juice on the Kings Road whilst waiting for my cup of loveliness. Then I bumped into Ian Hislop on said Road thereafter, and I nodded my greeting towards him. He looked at me in his usual quizzical way, suitably dismissed; he continued about his business... :D

Taught Andy Carrol.
Took a penalty against Emlyn Hughes and was upset when he said it was pathetic.
Had lunch and Alan Shearer was at the same table. He's boring.
Spent a bit of time with Michael Bruce the original Alice Cooper guitarist

I met on a few occasions the one and only Treguard from Knightmare, now that's a real celeb! ;)

When I was a kid my Dad helped him move house and we spent the day with him, another time I visited him at a theatre close to us when he was performing in a play. Top guy!
