Yeah I won a AT-ST driver in baggie from him. Turned out to be a fake too. When I asked him about it he began whining about the amount he paid for shipping and how he was losing out on the transaction. Bugger him, I'll get my money back through paypal and neg the ****er.

Just ****ing right! :D

Hmm paypal wants me to prove it's fake now:

In order to continue with our investigation, we request documentation to
support your claim that the item is not authentic. Please obtain a document
from an unbiased, third-party, such as a dealer, appraiser, or another
individual or organisation that is qualified in the area of the item in
question (other than yourself), which clearly identifies the item as not
authentic. The document should include a serial number and description of
the item and must be on letterhead paper that includes the name, signature,
address, and phone number of the individual, business, or organisation so
that PayPal may contact them if necessary.

Seen as the figure was only â'¬10 including shipping and I didn't use my CC I guess I can consider the money lost now. :(

Sorry to hear that Emiel :( Hate the fact that this guy has your money and you can't do anything about it.

Sometimes its best to actually claim it never arrived - they seem to dish out more refunds this way (I doubt he sent it insured/tracked ?)

"Sometimes"? From I've read on a few threads (both here and RS) over the last month it's best to do that EVERY time! Assuming you didn't use your credit card.

Emiel,

Contact Steve at UKG and get him to write you a letter...im sure he would verify it with some good pictures...dont give up on this theiving twat!!!!

Dont le him win, he probably does it 100's of times to make money.

You're right Andy. Contacted paypal today and they were surprisingly trying to be helpful. They advised me to contact a toy store and let them authenticate it, which reminded me of the fact that I have Jef Bas' vintage toy store 'A Space Oddity' not 500 metres away from my work! So I'll go explain it to him and ask him to write me a letter. There may be justice after all.

Regarding this guy, we should email the other buyers of his baggies. Can we do this before they've given feedback? I'm guessing no.

There's something about the bubble makes me suspicious - it is difficult to see the hatching...?
