My only concern now is that with the differences being pointed out that ******** doesn't now refine his moulds to eliminate them.
 
Those fake Stormtroopers are insane but what an arsehole for copying them. I absolutely hate it when folk get conned or ripped off. He may not be doing it directly but sure as there is a hole in my ass, people will buy them to sell them on as legit. :twisted:

Looks like a Poon to me. Can't put my finger on it but it doesn't look right. Is there a way to be sure.
 
The thing that might seem off to me is the paint apps, but the legs look like the originals, aren't the poon stormies
legs a pretty significant tell since they come to a point downwards?

Ah, I think I got it, it's a poon because of the STOORM in the title?? :P
 
Looks original to me too - this has a wider stance than the Poons and also the weapon looks the right colour

These are very likely to be Poons as this guy has a terrible reputation for fakes/repros etc
 
Hi,

I was hoping for some advice on a few recent eBay purchaces.

I recieved a few figures, I am quite confident about the weapons but unsure of Landos cloak, emperors stick and ackbars stick.

Landos cloak gives a nice zippy sound on one side but the edges are a bit off and it is lighter than my other Lando cloaks.
As with the other accessories the only reference I have are in baggies and hard to compare to.

This is my first time photographing accessories, I hope the detail is clear enough to help make a decision. Thanks in advance for any help.

This edge of the cape is an issue for me, as is the colour (a lot more noticable in person). I have questioned the seller before leaving feedback and got a 'Im insulted' & 'research your variants' response. I then asked to be educated and the seller has made it clear they have done their part and the ball is in my court.

I looked online before questioning the seller, lots of Lando variations, but no mention of cloak colour variation (only cloak shape variation).

I want to be sure rather than to finger an inocent seller.
 
I'm beginning to wish it was a bootleg.

Does anyone know where I can find more info on Bespin Lando's cloak? Images, colours, textures sizes etc...

they sure look minter than mint.

Just see he mentioned recarded.....would have been cool to see carded figures in that condition.
 
Yeah it does look pretty cool. Fairly well done too. Resealed onto an original back by the looks of it.

Tape looks like it has been peeled back and re-applied. Is that baggie a later baggie?

they must be making a quick buck or two hey! i dont agree with resealing figures onto original or repro card and partnered with repro weapons!

Yeah **** re tape & Fett never came in that baggie (ROTJ-c), its a R.L 3p0 baggie :|
