Pete, yes the spray opp's seem a lot neater than on the vintage, not so easy to notice but also noteworthy as every little helps (god I hate saying that since Tesco's have used it).

Not sure about the ebay one, but could be, I personally think that if we report ebay listing that we do not know to be fakes 100% we could damage the market more than we are helping it, I feel that the petition is the way to go, as if Mark feels he can make more to fill his wallet that way then & only then will the moulds be altered.

PS Aussiejames has informed me that Tri & Ledy stormtroopers have the flat bits underarm also, but not sure if they are the same COO??

I have purchased from this guy before and am 100% certain this is not a bad one. I am pretty sure he is on the RS forum (not that that means that much) and has sold some great items in the past two years.

This is the problem with these ****ers out there now - everyone selling a minty white Stormie is under suspicion.

Exactly :roll: It's horrible. I'm glad i'm not buying them anymore (125 is enough!) as this would have put a stop to it right away. I don't think anyone on any of the forums should be buying "mint" Stormtroopers from anyone unless they know the seller and they know 100% that they are real.

Thanks for helping Frank. As stated before, this will be hard to spot in auctions. I guess prior to bidding, make sure you ask for close up pictures.

EDIT - The peg holes in the feet are slightly larger & IMO do not fit the standard pro tech stands to well, also the underarm flat area is similar/possibly identical to Tri-Logo & Ledy stormtroopers, the good news is hta Tri & Ledy's are both no Coo

It will indeed be as good as impossible to identify these till in hand, jee's it took two of us collectors days with them in hand to spot anything so you got 2 hope of spotting them on a photo & Bob's dead! :lol:

Those fake Stormtroopers are insane but what an arsehole for copying them. I absolutely hate it when folk get conned or ripped off. He may not be doing it directly but sure as there is a hole in my ass, people will buy them to sell them on as legit. :twisted:

The thing that might seem off to me is the paint apps, but the legs look like the originals, aren't the poon stormies
legs a pretty significant tell since they come to a point downwards?

Ah, I think I got it, it's a poon because of the STOORM in the title??

Looks original to me too - this has a wider stance than the Poons and also the weapon looks the right colour
