Well done mate, not a bad price, I thought it would go for more.

Pretty certain it's legit.

Looks legit to me too from what I can tell; it's mad though isn't it??? Given that a correct Jawa and blaster for a vinyl cape can be had for a few quid, the vast majority of that £500 was spent on a 1.5 x 2 inch bit of brown vinyl. Us collectors are bonkers!!

That said, Sub is right. Given what we've seen them go for in the recent past that's not a bad price on the open market.

Congrats on picking it up and it does look to be a great example so should grade quite highly. I think the seller did themselves no favours with some of what they wrote be hopefully they were just trying to cover themselves and it does all seem to be legit now.

Post up some pics when you get it back as I'm sure everyone would love to see it and I hope it'll be a great addition for you to enjoy for quite some time in your collection

If it was dodgey (it looks fine to me) the seller wouldn't be able to say you had swapped the cape. EBay would have to listen to the impartial specialist.

Sorry for the late reply guys, working late shift at the mo, and had my Birthday yesterday :mrgreen: feeling old lol. Its coming to me direct then i'm sending it to UKG. Apart from his listing description, he does come across by txt at least a genuine collector. If he does swop the cape, he would need to create the same rub pattern on the back, and i have more detailed pictures of it, so i could always do a side by side if something were to go tits up so to speak.

No worries, i will be sure to post pictures once grading goes through. I'm getting it mounted in the big display box with COA (not everyone's favorite) but for a piece like this i think it needs a nice big case to make it look worth the money i spent on it lol Cant wait. And cheers for the comments and help on this guys muchly appreciated!
