How happy must the Portsmouth fans be? They get murdered at OT, but win 1-0 (much to EVERYONE'S delight) then they watch Chelsea lose to Barnsley, and Boro lose to Cardiff!

I'd prefer to get Barnsley in the semis as 'their' goalie, Luke Steele, can't play against us as he's ours :mrgreen: and he seems to have been doing a damn good job. I ain't bothered about Portsmouth either as we always seem to beat them.
I want us to at least make it to the final as that would mean playing in the UEFA cup next year which will mean more money in the event that we don't get promoted this season.

The losing finalist gets **** all, unless Portsmouth finish 5th. Even then I'm not sure what way it works. As in, do Portsmouth take the European spot for 5th place and the FA Cup spot defaults to the runners up, or do they take the FA Cup spot and the League spot moves to 6th place?
As Pompey are nowhere near 5th it's kinda academic!

Yeah Milwall got into Europe cos they played United, who had already qualified for the CL.
The PL just gets three UEFA Cup spots, 1 for Worthless Cup (SPurs), 1 for FA Cup, and 1 for the League.
And the Baggies just drew Portsmouth! The worst draw they could have got, BUT if in January someone had said to you "You'll be playing Portsmouth for a place in the FA Cup final." You would have laughed at them!

Not really bothered about Portsmouth, we will do better against a footballing team than against Cardiff and Barnsley who like to rough it up on occassions (as they've shown). We have a good record against Pompey as well
