Most ISP's provide dynamic IP ranges these days which makes pin pointing who is who tricky, especially if they are using one of the more popular ISP's that other forum members also use. That along with web proxifiers and internet cafes makes it very difficult to keep a persistent troll at bay, unless you make the signup up stage require mod approval. This also has the effect of keeping new members from signing up and posting easily so it's only worth doing if you are losing more forum members due to trolls posting than new ones who are signing up. Can you tell I used to moderate a forum with troll issues?

Edd has got a few of us sorted as Mods so if everyone ignores him (Augie) then we can delete his posts pretty quickly. That is unless he wants to take part and stop all the ranting. He's got a chance so its up to him really :wink:

I really don't think there will be much call to moderate other than with Augie but if everyone agrees on something and Edd isn't about then at least we can do a little more.

I have stopped talking about auggie. I feel the more we talk about him, the more that invites him back. :D (unless you guys are missing him and my special way of communicating with the retard. :lol: )

ive just put him on my foe's list...i think if eveyone does the same then he will be blanked out of the system and then that give him 2 choices...either he ****'s off...or he changes to another user name (which he's easy to spot...just watch out for a wanker talking shite)anyway just a idea ! :D
