Dumb Avatar Question

Ok guys.

I can program the dishwasher,
I can strip down a mountain bike and give it a full service,
I can give both a before flight service and an after flight service to the Puma helicopter,
I can navigate by using the sun, a compass and a stopwatch,
I can hunt, kill and cook animals...

...but i can't figure out how to use a photo as an avatar!!!!

The problem is my photos seem to big pixel wise or whatever, i need one of you computer boffins (or anyone who is in touch with the 21st century!)

Help me SWFUK, you are my only hope!!

I have The Same problem mate .
I'm also missing the future where I can hide a long link in fx the word "Here " and make it the link when you click it .

A **** of a way to spend Easter.

Well its that time again. I want to get an avatar and maybe something small in my sig block to reinvigorate myself.
Who knows what the feck i need to do?

This might help a wee bit - but sure someone will have an easier way

Use Microsoft paint
open up the image you want to use
Select resize from top left
Select pixels and resize - I think it needs to be 120 x 190
