DT Sabres

Browsing ebay I notice that RevalveIT is now moulding DT sabres using the plastic fron single telescoping sabres. They admit to destroying over 50 Luke sabres, plus however many from trials :shock:

How long will it be before it is impossible to tell the difference?

That's strange, i don't really see how a repro DT sabre could be worth as much as an original Luke/Vader or Ben sabre for it to be worth buying one, destroying it, moulding a new part and reselling it. The economics of it puzzles me most.

Hmm didn't think of that. Perhaps he's just testing the water? Getting clues as to how close to the real thing he is from feedback?

Reclaimed plastic tends to degrade when used again and becomes more brittle. I guess vintage plastic makes it more real???? :roll:
