Dave, I think the point Todd is trying to make is that there are many people who make customs and just because Poon or Isashi didnt make it doesn't make it anything otherthan a custom still. i know of lots of people that make customs and it might be a difficult task determining where it came from and even if you did, what significance is it? You now know what it is now and I wish you luck in determining its origins if thats what you wish to know.
Nevertheless it is still a very neat custom IMO.
