Hi Guys
(sorry if in wrong area)

Just recently new to the forum

Have just started my collection recently and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a display cabinet for my figures (links if possible)

have seen a few on ebay that are okay just wondering if anyone knows of shops etc.. that sell good ones

cheers

Welcome to the forum 8)

I think there is a thread on display cabinets further down the vintage collecting page which will be worth a read.

I'm in the same boat and looking for a cabinet for carded figures mainly. Theres a few wide glass cabinets on ebay that aren't too badly priced and are worth looking at. Argos has a surprisingly good selection as well and IKEA has good cabinets for loose figs :D

Hi there PJT and welcome to the forum. I ve only been a memebr for a week and this forum rocks. Any questions you want just post it on here and its gets answered with in a few minutes. Really nice people as well.

You posted any pics of your collection yet. :D

na not yet, its not up to scratch yet (to say the least!!) lol

have just bought a bulk batch a few weeks ago off ebay (which, as all you know come at average quality minus all weapons)

as well as that i have been buying C10/9 quality singles figures off ebay.

got about 30+ figures (1 of each), slowly getting there, although there is no rush

are the prices on ebay fair?
Any tips (good or bad) to keep an eye out for when shopping for vintage figures on ebay?

cheers

That's another welcome to the forum from me! :D

Don't be afraid to post pictures of your collection. We all started from scratch (ok, some people had stuff left from childhood) and no one on here is going to have a go at you about your collection, be it the size of it or what you choose to focus on. Hell, we even let variant collectors join!

I think there is a thread, it may well be a "sticky" about bad Ebayers, that's probably worth a read. Other than that, any questions just ask! We're more than happy to help and no one takes themselves too seriously on here.

Hi and welcome... I've sqeezed petty much my whole collection into the right cabinet you see here (my focus being good quality loose figures along with a few customs and variants, I have 12 of the last 17 and a Rancor to go), got these a few years ago in ikea, I think they are kitchen ones and they only cost under £10 each.

...and a word of caution, I'm already starting to replace my earlier additions to my collection as my standards have risen as time has gone on, buy as good condition as you can and aim for original weapons, 1 fab figure a week is much better than 5 **** ones!

You got me! they're proudly displayed along with the Glow worms, Smurfs and Cliff Richard miniture plates... :|

I would but errrrm, my cameras just broken...

...see how quickly things go off topic here pjt!
