Does anyone know if the Palitoy Desert Sail Skiff (non flap box) came with a cardboard insert? 🤔

Perhaps some MIB collectors may be able to confirm this?

If it's this version, then I'd say no, as they are not in mine, and don't think there would be room in the box for it.

Just picked this up, Desert Sail Skiff, looks unused, box looks like its in really great condition, unused sticker sheet, instructions not too shoddy either, just missing the original baggies.

congratulations mate with your new skiff, was there any insert in the box ?

I've not seen a tri logo mtv-7 Emiel, are they rare like the isp-6 ?
Also is that a booklet with the mtv-7 ?

it is the spanish PBP commercial catalog that is in the box, I am pretty sure that the catalog should be in all 4 boxes since they are made in spain ;)

No I think they were added when they were meant to be sold in spain. But then maybe some stock didn't sell so some may have ended up being exported and selling in another country.

Maybe you are correct.

I have found some of this commercial catalogs in danish childhood lots, but they could have been bought on vacations to spain  or exported because they could not sell them all in spain. Just like moc sold in countries that was not meant for them. In denmark we had meccano, kenner canada, kenner usa, palitoy, pbp and clipper moc that was sold in the 80s in the shops

I have found PBP, kenner, palitoy and parker star wars commercial catalogs and posters in danish childhood lots. If I remember correct I also once found an AT-ST made in spain with this PBP commercial catalog in a danish childhood lot

But I guess it is hard to find proof about what the factories did unless we get in contact with people from the factories

Wish I'd known - I've got one to sell, just not got round to photographing it yet and always assume that regulars on here already have things that I am going to sell, doh!

Can I be cheeky and ask how much you paid for it (pm would suffice), please :)

Do you have the original baggies for it?

Get some pictures took and post it in the 'Vintage Valuation Request' forum. 👍

Hi @kabuchi7 - unfortunately not got the 'baggies', just the instruction leaflet and sticker sheet.

I have got a 'to do' list for the valuation thread, ha ha but have JUST got a newish phone, so once I work out how to use it and take photos (technophobe when it comes to mobile phones as only had 'dumb' ones), I intend to post some stuff this month.
