Just saw this on the "other" board. A bunch of foreign MOC's, all looking very nice, ungraded, and at decent prices. Several Palitoy 12 backs in there too. http://forum.rebelscum.com/showthread.php?t=1128288 It took SIX MINUTES for most to get sold to one person - someone who will almost certainly grade them and flip them on Facebook/ebay going off his history. :( There are still a few left that look nice, but damn. Get 'em while you can, guys.

I would have linked this sooner if I had seen it, because I know a lot of you are looking for Palitoy cards, and not everyone here visits that place.

I know what the buyer did was fair play and I can't fault him, but it would be nice if decent priced stuff would go to collectors who are actually looking to keep the figures, not grade and flip. :(

You snooze you lose I guess...

As you say Ian, some great MOCs at great prices! (hopefully they don't get flipped but...)

Wouldn't surprise me if he's one of the bidders on the AFA90 DT Vader. If there was ever a sad label chaser with more money than sense it's him.

He must be continuously checking all forums, Facebook and eBay every few minutes as he seems to come up with a seemingly limitless supply of high quality MOCs, and most sales posts are labelled "just graded". I suppose you have to weigh up time spent online and how much that saves you. You could spend several months constantly scanning the internet and come across just a couple of deals which save you a few hundred pounds. You gotta then work out whether that's a good return. Say you spend a total of 50 hours online over a few months, multiply that by minimum wage, about £7 an hour, then it's basically like a low paid job.

Holy smokes. Just over £3300 for all that palitoy goodness. Bargain of the year.

Sorry to sound ignorant but who is the buyer?

His RS username is the same as his eBay username..and you should be able to work out who it is from the pictures he takes/uses :)

Thanks for all the kind words guys. FYI, I'm not bidding on the DT Vader 90 loose and I haven't bid. Wasn't aware I was referred to as the Flipper...but ok...I also have a collection that I love and I give a lot of great deals to folks in the Facebook groups. Anyone has a problem with me can feel free to PM me on Facebook or PM me here. Posts like this are childish.

I don't have a problem with you Zach. I can see how you took the "flipper" thing personally, but that, along with the post itself, was more lamenting all the guys looking for affordable Palitoys on this board, who missed out here. I pointed out it was fair play to you, and if they ARE for your own collection, then great score. However, you do buy, grade, and sell LOTS of carded figures, and if that is the case here, then the guys here who have been searching for ages just lost out on a great deal for their own collections. :(

All good Ian...thanks for clarifying...not sure what I'm going to do with these yet...I may keep some...I just saw a good deal and jumped on them....if I do decide to sell some I will try and come back here to offer at fair prices.

I got it!

I think his name is Zach Tann. (We have 37 mutual friends on facebook)

Crime Scene Investigated. Problem served.

Edit:On closer inspection, I believe its Chris Mann
