Custom figures - does anyone on here make them to order

Morning lads

I know there are a few custom makers on here, was wondering if anyone made them to order?

I always like to do something random for the wife's birthday and it's getting harder and harder to come up with things to do but she expects something random from me each year now as I've set a precedent. Was wondering if anyone could make a custom figure of her?

I know this should probably be in off topic but thought it might get a better chance of finding someone who dies customs here.

There are a few people that do customs on here, Todd the master and I think The Ghent. If you are after a likeness of the Mrs though think 3 d printer as Barry says.

I can easily do custom cardbacks. I can do custom figures as well. The problem with doing customs of real people is the likeness thing. The expectation of the individual sometimes is not met by the limitations of the sculpter.

Todd does great cardbacks. I would look into the 3D thing to see if you can get a figure made to scale and then have a cardback made. Custom sculpting the head for a one off figure that'll look anything like your mrs, unless she's the spit of Carrie Fisher or any other female lucky enough to have there own mass produced figure, just won't wouldn't happen.

certain asda stores are doing 3d scans, you walk in they scan you and you get a figure out of it, i think it was around £70 not sure on the size of figure you get

I don't need it to be an exact figure, image on a decent cardback would be good with just a rough custom kind of figure.

You could just have a look around at female action figures on eBay and see if any are close. Post up the results if you get it sorted. Sounds a really cool gift

They do complete figures or just the heads that might fit nicely on a vintage custom, only problem is they are in the states so postage adds a big chunk.
