So I've seen several threads moaning about rising prices - 12 backs, loose figures, baggies etc. We all know these things go in and out of fashion and therefore fluctuate in value, so what is "uncool" and therefore worth picking up at the moment?

Has the heat on tri-logos cooled off yet? How about MISB vehicles, don't see those mentioned too much? surely something must be cheaper now than it was a few years back :lol:

Personally i feel we are doing ok considering the price of some modern crap. Now that is getting out of control!!! VOC figures overpriced, black series overpriced, loose examples of such figures go for silly money-a joke.

12 back Kenner R2 ended at £100ish on the bay the other day - thought that was a good price

Genuine Palitoy 45/65 backs are also cheaper after Tonigate

There's also a guy selling POTF Lumats on Facebook for £30 - maybe POTF is the way to go

I picked one up as they seemed such a good price

Seen C8 common trilogos still go for £30 too - plenty of affordable lines still out there

On the other hand a 41 back Han Hoth sold for £140 when they were only £50 a few year ago - a crazy market

Other than that its a sellers market at the moment

To be honest compared to other collectables I'm talking paintings and stuff like like vintage Star Wars is still cheap. I still think the recent price rise is unfair to long time collectors.
