ahhh matt prior our best wicket keeper since stewart! hes quite good in these type situations i duft my cap too him cracking knock 110 from 182 balls you see attack is sometimes the best form of defense!

Agreed and he should play in all forms not just the tests. Keiswetter isn't the best keeper and prior can easily match his batting whilst being a better glovesman.

ha ha Australia are tapping up the knowledge of one of englands greatest first class players mr graeme hick for training there new crop of youngsters on batting patience! crazy stuff and could prove to be genious move by oz cricket board, despite his test frailties(to be fair his test average wasnt far of atherton's of hussains) at test level he batted for hours for worcs! good luck hicky! :D

if the weather holds up and both games are completed 2-0 england. but i reckon it will be 1-0 england as weather will hold up one test. and i expect root to be highest scorer! and anderson amongst the highest wickets

Definitely a drawn series 0-0 due to our predictable weather :D

If we can avoid the washout then definitely a whitewash :) a proper good spanking me thinks :)

Indeed it was, they certainly got our batters off the hook  mind you the nz performance was pretty woeful, apart from Taylor's first innings knock and Southee's bowling. Can't see us losing this one but it would be nice to see the batters and bowlers at their best in unison :)

Yeah, great bowling display by Broad and Anderson, helped a little by some mediocre NZ batting.

Gotta say apart from the bowling in the NZ second innings that was a pretty underwhelming test match.

Complete spanking!

TBF to England from the sounds of it that's a very good wicket to bat on. But 350+ is still a great effort.
Every ball in the last 5 overs seemed to go for four.

I'd just worry about England's batsmen's habits of getting themselves in and then throwing it away. They should still get 300+ on that pitch, but 360 is a big ask.

:( :( Blown it!! Ravi Bopara so close to a hero
i dont know why england persist with bopara, reminds me of hick one day good one day bad! still england had a fairly decent competition and will do there confidence good going into the ashes 8) !

Amazed England bucked that way!
That's two consecutive Champions trophy finals at home England have had won, yet have conspired to lose. And people say SA are bottlers!?

Still the Aussies have just sacked their coach, so looks like they are doing their best to shoot themselves in the foot for you.

Ashes tommorow........woop woop :D
ashes predictions anyone? im going for 3-1 england maybe 3-0. cook root swann bell and anderson to do well and one big innings from kp. as for oz, rogers, wade, siddle and starc to have a good series

Very excited :D and the forecasters reckon no rain interruptions throughout the series.

Not sure if it's going to be as easy as people think, I would love to see a spanking but reckon it's going to be tight, England to prevail 2-1 / 2-0.

COME ON ENGLAND :D
