Could I ask a favour from our members from over the pond?

I am trying to finalilse a deal with a guy in the us who doesnt post overseas and was wondering if one of you Amercian guys could act as a middleman and advise me on domestic US postage costs. He is charging me $31 to post a 4 Lom mailer! :shock: Sounds a lot! :?

It sounds like he's quoting you the cheapest option that would include tracking and insurance so he's covered by ebay/paypal seller protection. Just guessing, he could mail it for around $10 (maybe even less) with the non tracking/insurance method.

Yes agreed, I buy a lot of video games from the USA which are much smaller than a MOC, and $10-12 is about the going rate for airmail WITHOUT tracking or insurance. Unless it's something uber-rare, request that option.
