Contacting an eBay seller

Don't use eBay ....so need to ask a question

If you use the " ask the seller a question" field in an on going auction, is that question there for all to see, or does it operate like a pm function?

It sends them a private message. You do mean the one where it gives you some options and you choose the 'none of these ask the seller...' Type question?

I think the seller can choose wether or not he wants to publish your Question on the listing tho :wink:

When you are asked a question as a seller on e-bay, you as the seller can have the question and answer made public on the listing or chose not to.
