Did I reas elswhere that you can complain to ebay regarding excessive postage charges and get the difference refunded?

Or did I dream this ?

Contacted a seller asking if they combined postage, they replied no problem mate. They were asking £3.00 for each figure (even though it would be £2 1st class recorded each)

Just got the invoice they slashed all of 50p of the total  it's just the principle like - it doesn't cost £5.50 for two regular figs

First things first- don't pay it. Resend a total request. And keep doing so till he combines postage as promised.
If you do pay and it all arrives in one package. Leave negative feedback. This will usually lead to the seller contacting you and begging to remove it. You will do so once compensated. ;)

I agree, ask the seller to resend invoice with a reasonable postage charge for the figures. Getting 3 figures doesn't mean 3 x postage!!
