Collectorholics now!

Very interesting show, you came across really well, you have a great collection of toys, allways enjoy your videos

As a point of topic about touch up repaints.
it may be an idea to score the feet with a Stanley knife. Put an x on the figures feet so that theres at least a sign that it is a beater that has been repainted . And take a before and after shot. To send with the figure if ever reselling. just an idea

That's all very well but the problem arises when the figure is sold on again, without that info, and advertised as being in mint condition

Hence the mark on the foot. it if became a touch up artist mark throughout the collecting community. An x on one foot and a initial of the artist on the other.
So if someone bought one they would know instantly that its been touched up.
Hopefully the artists the honest ones anyway would do this so no one gets ripped off down the line

The more you watch these other collectors, the more strange they seem. I know they're all extreme collectors, but people must see us SW collectors like that sometimes

Teddy Bear man was odd but the CD man guy was nuts. I know the estimates on what his collection was now worth would have been inaccurate, but to be looking at a loss of £150k is just crazy considering nothing he had was truly "rare". Everything he had was mass produced, lasts forever and is mostly modern. Unlike our SW stuff (thank goodness!!).

What about when they cast a replacement leg for one of the figures? Just what we all need

Just seen a guy make £81,000 after the sale of his teddy bears
