collection that is possibly up for grabs

There is a much bigger market for factory sealed pieces than opened ones as they are so rare so yes it was a bad idea to open it but it is still a super minty example.

Always remember - never open old sealed toys, even if curiosity is getting the better of you!

omg

You should NEVER open a sealed item Andy as it will literally slash the value in half if not more m8 - sorry to be the barer, I can already feel the gasps of disbelief & sheer terror behind the monitors of any member reading your post m8 as this is regarded a bit like granny bashing or stealing from a child on here, don't panic though, you are not the first to do so & I am sure will not be the last, in your favour - at least you were oblivious to the fact unlike some folks who have been on the forum of late & that just do it to get there kicks, Princess Leia shall rename nameless - Oop's

just checked on Trilogo.info and its the GMJ (General Mills Juguetes) rebo band i have :)
i assume this is a good thing.

It is a good thing and an interesting one too as yours was obviously sold in the UK!

Could you confirm by taking a picture of the inserts/contents and also the back of the box where all the company information is?

Thanks!

Don't worry about it Andy, worse things happen at sea & all that, you will still get a good price for it, just DON'T OPEN ANYTHING ELSE & you will be ahead  not like you have lost a thing really as they have all come to you free m8, so don't feel bad :) , like I say others have done so intentionally on the forum just to wind other members up, so its no tragedy, now if it had been a carded palitoy vinal cape jawa, you would have had a linching poesy at your door with a burning cross

Ah ok unfortunately it isn't the GMJ version but in fact the more common Palitoy version. It is in very good condition still :)

Thanks for confirming!

How can you tell?

Actually, forget that last comment. Re checked the page and I'd read it wrong. :(
Yup, I'm a dumb ass.

No problem ;)

It's nice to see you doing a little research and taking an interest in what you have in order to sell it correctly - it will be interesting to see where everything ends up so do keep us informed :)

Love seeing collections like this unearthed, best of luck with your sales I'm sure your Granddad wil be happy knowing they will end up in the hands of collectors who will look after them.

It will also serve as a legacy for the fact he had enough foresight to keep them in such great condition.

Though i should let everyone know i have decided to sell the collection piece by piece.
I will probably sell the majority of it on this forum.
Some people have shown interest in particular figures, i will endeavour to reply to PM's on a first come first served basis.

thanks,

Andy.

Good man Andy, nice to see you posting them up for sale here on the forum for those that helped with prices & questions, a refreshing change & I for one wish you the best of luck with your sales.

Very happy to see you've stuck them on here Andy! It makes a very refreshing change compared to what's happened on here before in a similar type of situation
