Clumsy star wars mishaps

That happened with me once, with one of my carded fetts, brought a sliding case and as i was putting fett in i noticed some white showing up on the side so i took it out and a bit white line from the rail edge which cant have been smoothed down properly, so sold it cheap to KFCKarl as couldnt stand it not being perfect

Ever since then i put a cut piece of thin paper under the rail so the card is underneath it and use a ruler to push the card down incase warped

Bought a Han Carbonite Trilogo open bubble, card back, figure and carbonite block but was a good buy for £25. It displayed nicely enough in a Star Case, but I was itching to seal the bubble to the card to make it look even better.

Would the bubble stick to the cardback? Even with Superglue it was useless. I ended up sticking my fingers together and the glue has left nasty marks on the cardback and on the top of the bubble, It only stuck down the right hand side of the bubble in the end, basically it now looks worse than before! Wish I left it alone :(

No biggie but I brought and AFA70 ESB Leia Hoth. Figured the case didnt quite match my other Leia MOCs which were in Christians acrylic cases and as it was only an AFA70 I would crack it out.

Set to with a screwdriver, splintering various small and large pieces of case until the figure was free. It was only afterwords I notices a lovely tear on the side of the card caused by my utter impatience.

Shes still beautiful though.

I am Mr Clumsy, it's in my genes I'm afraid

However, collecting low grade mocs etc, this doesn't become to serious a problem.

Was gutted however on finding an early bird LFB in a local antiques shop, mixed in with other loose figs, think I paid a fiver, complete with original saber with tip...result :D I was reall chuffed, then my daughter and wife conspired for me and my sons bday to put the Luke and Vader on top of the cake  , they changed their minds and bought black series for the cake, but the LFB returned to me 2 weeks later with a repro saber :? ( daughter in law went online and thought that'll do  ) anyway she found the original saber a few days later in the bottom of her handbag. MINUS the tip FFS :!:

Therein lies a lesson, lock up you loosies

Alls well LFB EB has his saber back ( minus tip  ) but feel better now he has finally got it back :D

I've just thought about my biggest star wars mishap -

1985, thought I was too old for SW toys. Sold about half of my collection to raise money towards buying a mountain bike :?
