I know its a weird choice but I never get bored of that film. People say the first one is great but the second is terrible, so I've never seen it. Favourite quote - "if I was going to kill myself I'd be awesome at it ...shotgun to the dick" :lol:

Mine would be dunked in chum and thrown into the sea with 10 hungry great white sharks :D

That's a very good question! Assuming we have to only pick one SW film:

1) The Empire Strikes Back
2) Aliens
3) Die Hard
4) Independence Day
5) Titanic (yes I know, guilty pleasure!)

Can't believe know one has said The Polanski classic Dance of the vampire's, (the fearless vampire killers), "you've got the wrong vampire my dear", never got tired of this as a kid so

Dance of the vampires
League of gentleman Christmas special, (technically not a film but it's so good who cares) :lol:
Empire S Back
Goonies
Jaws

What about Blade Runner and Alien...........really like Rambo f b .......only five not fair :(

What the **** is all this "home alone" ****????? Noticed about 5 mentions of it. :shock: :shock: :shock:

I'm going to cheat by skipping the original SW trilogy, raiders and crusade so I can choose basically my 2nd top 5.

1. Schindlers List
2. Gandhi.
3. Blazing Saddles.
4. Bourne Trilogy Box Set, :D
5. Back tert future.

Honourable mentions, one of them star trek ones, green mile, Tombstone, AI and that one where they dream and ****.

I don't normally call people out on their comments, but ****ing home alone, top 5, jeeeez, don't make me sick. :roll:

:D

I guess I was a bit younger than some of you, Macaulay Culkin is actually a year older than me!

Really difficult, but these are all films I watch regularly anyway.

ESB;
Blade Runner;
Back to the Future;
Men o' war (Laurel & Hardy film, always makes me laugh!);
Scrooged.

Ehhh you what now? I can only assume number 5 is a typo! Ok, yer bird does get her tits out in it, but **** me that's one chronically shite film. And as for that sound track, shoot me now!

You really shouldn't admit things like that Ed. I think you're gonna have to have a long hard look in the mirror! :lol:

Well duck me sideways! I was ripped for my Hot tub time machine, but Titanic?! :eek: Edd! You need to go and watch it again, this time pay attention to the first three hours and how all the actors and plot make you want to vomit and hope to god Rose gets hit by that massive propeller as the ship goes down. I do watch it though and wish that evil cow in the fur hat would go back and the boats gets swamped and she dies. Chortle chortle! :p

I get Home Alone ...kind of. Guilty pleasure at Crimbo. Drive me ****ing mental if it was one of only five films I had to watch though.

You can't have the whole Bourne trilogy though man. That's like 6 films or sommat :wink:

Good call on Ghandi. Great movie

I watch Titanic quite often, most recently a few weeks ago :) Don't worry not for the soppy stuff, it's actually just because I have always been fascinated by the disaster itself since I was a kid, and for all its faults this is the closest dramatisation of it that exists right now. I was super excited when it came out in '97 and really enjoyed it. Who knows, maybe there will be a better film version in future. There are loads of documentaries on it but even recent ones pale in realism to the film (and by that I mean the sinking and ship itself, not the characters obviously)

Have to admit I watched Titanic twice at the Cinima and brought it on VHS. :oops:

19 years since it came out! :|
