Found a couple of old pictures of some Chewie loosies I used to have along with a ROTJ cardback.

Kenner/Lili Ledy Figure:

With very kind permission of Greg aka Flycasual, here's a great example of a Euro Kenner/Lili Ledy figure. No Coo makings. Similar to the Lili Ledy Figure markings, however, Ledy Figure has much darker limbs. See Wolffs guide on page 1.

Four new variants in today courtesy of Lars aka ' Pomse2001'
Big update to the guide soon. This will then cover nearly all of the most common coo variants available for the Chewbacca figure. I will also be compiling the Quick photo Reference guide asap.

Hong Kong COO figure update:

Picked up a second Hong Kong COO figure variant today courtesy of Lars. COO II. 1a.

The difference between the two variants is shown below. Quite a slight difference, the hairline on the leg runs to the centre of the 'G' as opposed to the top of the 'G' in the Hong Kong stamp.

It gives an additional buzz when you pick up a figure and you can align it to its correct variant

Picked up another variant of this figure. Really nice example

Leg Markings :
Comes with markings I.2a as per Wolffs guide.

Scarred out Hong Kong COO figure:

Next up is a Scarred out Hong Kong COO figure. Comes with leg markings III.2B. Great condition figure again.

Leg Markings :
Scarred out Hong Kong COO marking. The last '7' in the date stamping is slightly higher on this variant.

PBP / Euro No COO figure:

Picked up a second I.2b Euro No COO figure. Similar to the previous figure, Some of the leg markings are quite hard to see, the last '7' is almost gone on this one.

Here's the 13 variants I came across putting the guide together. I don't have the Glasslite or Toltoys variants shown as I am just trying to cover the more common COO variants available...such as,

Made in Hong Kong,
No COO,
Large and small Hong Kong COO,
Made in Taiwan,
Scarred out Hong Kong COO.

I have also added a picture of the Kenner / Lili Ledy Figure at the bottom.

Hong Kong COO figure update:

Picked up a nice mint Hong Kong COO figure from Iain.

Comes with identical III.1B leg markings to the first Chewbacca variant that I started the guide with.

One small difference between the two figures. The latest figure shown below on the right, has much larger painted light blue eyes...

Taiwan COO figure update:

Picked up a nice Taiwan COO figure. Comes with the leg markings IV.1b. However, there are is a slight difference between the markings on this figure compared to the previous Taiwan 1b figure i had. (Shown below)

IV.1b Leg markings:
The small difference between the two is shown here. The dot alongside the 'G' is much closer on the latest figure.

The latest Taiwan figure (Below Left) also has darker Blue eyes compared to the previous two Taiwan figures...

Yes there is still coo and no coo out there that many of us have not seen before.

Maybe you will be the first to make a complete Chewie coo guide :wink:
