Chat room

Hello everybody , title says it all, I am just wondering if the forum can get a communal chat room so we can all chat together.

if there is already one, sorry for any inconvenience and could somebody please direct me towards it?

They are quite easy to set up, the problem is participation. We used to have an off site one that only a handful of guys joined and then Edd integrated one into the forum at the bottom but only 2 or 3 people joined that too. I actually like to chat as well as post on the forum so if people want to try it again I am sure it's something we could set up but as I said if people aren't going to use it, it's a waste of time.

Maybe a show of hands on who would actually join and chat daily would be a good idea?

I remember the off site one was a lot of fun sometimes.

The on site one caused the whole site to crash if I rember correctly.

just install msn/or skype as it is now, all add our usernames and we can chat all day, and your not limited to star wars forums then??

ive tried pushing this before but nobody seemed to like the idea.

Had a chat function on another forum I used to frequent and it was very popular,the only bother was instead of people asking questions on the forum they asked it in chat so the forum was robbed of some info in a sense.

We had one here live at the bottom of the forum a while back. It started bugging so Edd deleted it.

Andy had the right idea,sort out Skype or facebook accounts for people who want to chat...
