Sorry to hear that mateDid you manage to sell them? Lyte were buying back 4 day passes and Sunday passes over the weekend. Unfortunately I feel asleep after work and missed the chance to get some of thr money back.
I doubt people will be looking for tickets now.
Another kick in the pants is that I asked my boss to cancel the days off I had booked. Work is incredibly busy and we are understaffed so I assumed he would be happy to have more people on but I had to remind him yesterday that he hadn't changed it and when he finally did it he didn't give me any shifts for those days.
I don't mind the kids of all this money but I won't even have had the fun that cost all the money,![]()
Good luck EddYay, engineering works on Good Friday means I can't get the train! No idea how I'm going to get there now, driving from South West England to East London isn't that appealingIf you are planning on getting the train, you might want to check what's running...
Sorry to hear that.Im Here with my kids. It's far too packed. Can't see anything or doing anything. I've been wondering around and no one has checked any passes anywhere so far. Kids are grumpy and hot and stressed by the huge queues so we are dumping it and going outside to do something else. Echo is a 1000 times the event this is! What a waste of cash!
That kind of worry is why I had not taken my nephew before.Im Here with my kids. It's far too packed. Can't see anything or doing anything. No Rogue Squadron?!I'm excited by this film news. 3 very different directions to take and a fresh start. Hope they bring Finn and Poe back. Let's see if they actually get made though, as Rogue Squadron hit the buffers quite quickly.
Are you sure you're a Star Wars fan?More films oh goodie![]()

My first one was like this- took my nephew, who was 6 or 7 at the time. Didn't get to do or see a huge amount for myself, but we still had a great time.I was a bit disappointed today to be honest. It was very different to previous Celebrations for me as I took my son for the first time, so I couldn't watch any of the collecting track panels, chat to other collectors or look for things to buy for myself. I was impressed by how quickly we got in considering the size of the queue (photo below!) which took just under an hour. But I was shocked by how busy it was inside, they should only have let half as many people in. He enjoyed it which is the main thing.

35000 and it wasn't even sold out? How many people are expected today and tomorrow?I was very lucky and able to get in early at 8am so got to have a walk around and see everything before they opened the doors, managed to see a couple of collector tracks which was great Really enjoyed them! I didn't enjoy how packed it got apparently there was 35000 people attended ! I left around 3pm due to being too busy to really see anything, on a whole I had a good day but i agree with what Ed said above I enjoyed the first celebration London way more.
I mean you can sell your own stuff but at something like a grand a day you'd need a lot to shift.35000 and it wasn't even sold out? How many people are expected today and tomorrow?
How were you able to get inside that early?
And what are collector tracks? They've been mentioned a few times in the thread. I've never been into the collecting side of it except for the action figures and those were for playing with.
I didn't know until scanning this thread that ordinary Joe soaps like myself go to Celebration to sell their own stuff. I thought all the stalls were for Hasbro, LEGO, etc
