Celebration Europe 2 - Essen

Looking forward to see you guys there. Think Frank wanted to go on his own, but maybe he would join Rogue Squadron? :)

Btw, I really was hoping for other big names for autographs and now that Hamill is announced, I'm really hoping that Ford will be there too. What are your thoughts on it? I know usually he is not into that kind of events, but with Episode VII coming, maybe he'll be there? Also hoping for JJ Abrams to be honest... although my bank account won't like it... :)
 
I would love to join you guys in the Falcon, but have made plans to visit & stay with my best m8 in Germany & want to stay at least a week as well as getting the Celebration in & catching up with a family member in Hamburg, so sadly i think I am out of the Falcons Red squadron, though it sounds like a lot of fun & if I can not confirm with buddies that I can stay over may yet be in, but its looking doubtful guys TBH.

Would save me a fortune 2 as my fuel bill alone will be more than the flacons entire cost including food & entrance, but i have not been back "home" as it were since 91 so would really like to take in the sights sounds & smells not to mention the grub, bring on those sausages, you ALL really have to stop at a traditional wurstien kiosk whilst your there.

Really looking forward to the event but more looking forward to meeting you guys, not event sure WTF I am going to do at the even yet, anyone got an itinerary sorted?? as I think I need help :lol:
 
VRR ticket from dusseldorf Airport to Essen costs EUR 8.90. Trains are very regular and you meet it straight at airport.

Essen is 35km from Airport so taxi will be pricey!
 
It may be a good idea to post a photo so that we know who to look for. Other than Liam (who I assume will be wearing a T-shirt with links to every other brand :lol: ) I wouldn't know who to spot.

Have never seen the appeal of Star Tots, thought the coins were much better and have a couple of framed sets from the first Celebration Europe. Think I may be collecting as many as I can and flogging them to the Yanks who have a set from Celebration 6 to cover some of the trip costs.
