Ok, who can explain this:
A MOC R2D2, admittedly with a cracked bubble:

A loose R2D2 with time to run:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=350385328641&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

A MOC C3P0:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI....659&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&autorefresh=true

A loose C3PO with time to run:

Who can explain a loose selling for MORE than a sealed carded example  (The mocs were cheap mind!)

It could be that the Loose figures from Maelkobaggins are being bid on by US/ Canadian bidders. The Sneebeebees auctions say that he doesnt ship worldwide. Maybe he has got less of an audience?

It does seem bloody crazy to me too! I know what I would be going for. Crack or no crack!! (I the bubble that is!)

Chris, you need to give the crack up man. Its not doing you any favours.....

I watched all of his droids auctions- to buy a mint set of loose figures would run to over £700!!! Scary!
R2D2 $225
C3P0 $255
Sise Fromm $225
Tig Fromm $158!
Thats loose!

Loose still seems to get a premium on them that some carded figures can't match I don't know why. I've picked up Tri Logo A-Wing Pilot, Imperial Dignitary and a couple of others for less than I paid for the same figures loose. It seems madness but I guess its just demand.
