C-3PO Carry Case

I'm not sure this is the correct place for this. Sorry if it's not.

So, I'm looking for something to start my collection on eBay, and what do I stumble upon? A factory sealed C-3PO carry case. Now, from what I've read on the internet it MAY be worth something if I resold it (which I wouldn't do straight away,) but I'm not sure. Also, it seems way too good to be true (considering the £16 price tag) and I'd like to know the best way to tell if it's genuine with all these fakes on the Bay.

I don't know if its real or fake but the one I can find at that price now is an auction ending on a Sunday so I very much doubt it will stop there.

No idea mate, I understand its rarer than the Vader case so I assume more expensive. I'm sure someone else will be able to chime in. Or you could do a search on sold items on ebay

I've done some searches on eBay and it seems to go for over £100. But that's what worries me! It seems like one for £16 is too good to be true. I guess I'll keep trawling the web, and maybe take the plunge closer to Sunday!

You should be able to pick one up for under £100 with a bit of luck.

You can get an AFA graded one for under £300.

These tend to sell for circa £ 90.

Vin3po, I ask because I'm looking on eBay and there's one for £16 and I'm struggling to find any price guides on the interwebs. If it normally goes around £100, which seems likely considering what Laurence said. I guess I'll be starting my collection!

Also, that research on the palitoy factory is really interesting Laurence. It seems like something from time team
