I have delcared full value on one item, the most expensive figure I have ever bought (North of a grand)
Got the guy to mark it full value for customs (just incase) and guess what..... It cleared without having to pay any customs fees :?

It saved me several hundred pounds 8)

Not once, not one single ****ing time (when I was buying) did I get a parcel from overseas without getting raped by HMRC! ****ing wish I knew then how to go about claiming the VAT back. I'd say it's a few grand those wankers have robbed me of. :evil: :twisted:
