So I've been away for a week down in beautiful Somerset and I have some holiday snaps to share with you from Boba's album.

Great photos. You missed me by a week as I was there earlier. Didn't get to Wookey Hole though. Did you go to Brean Leisure park? It was a bit naff. Is the castle Dunster? I enjoyed that.

Smashing holiday snaps, Mumbo- Somerset is a fine county to holiday in. I've seen Glastonbury Tor so many times in the distance, but I've yet to actually walk up it- Boba's a lucky chap, fantastic views from up there I should imagine

Yep did Brean, kids had fun but like you say pretty lame. Wookey Hole was great fun, so much to do for the kids. Yep Dunster Castle, another great day out and not too boring for the monkies. Also took in Roman baths, Fleet Air Museum, Montacute TV and Radio Museum (**** loads of vintage toys, no SW ). It's a really beautiful area 8)

:lol: No word of a lie, I took a small detour into Glastonbury last September on my way home from holidaying in Devon... I spent an hour navigating country lanes to try and find somewhere to park, but every lay-by said 'No parking- you will be towed', so I came away somewhat disenchanted

Still, at least I've witnessed 'what could have been' through Boba's eyes :wink:

Lake District is 30 mins from me go there a lot, awesome

My mum and dad had a static caravan up there for years, some great places to visit

Somerset looks like a beautiful place, I never made it there in my 35 years living in England.

We are of to Keswick mate, what does your local knowledge suggest we take a look at?

I am looking for a mountain that myself and junior can get a lift to the top of then cycle back down. :wink:

I love Keswick. Really nice area, I was there or near enough last year. There's a great market in Keswick.
