It will go up in value, don't under-estimate the modern SW figurines. "The Force Awakens" was an iconic movie, just like the original ANH, the modern figurines from TFA will be cherished in the future, no doubt. I'm from the original ANH days, but unlike others of my era, I believe the TFA figurines or certain ones (like the one you mentioned "Kylo") will have value down the rd. Hang in there and get the figurines that appeal to you. Hasbro is not producing as many these days, everything will have value from this series imo.
