You can contact the buyer after he leaves feedback and inform him the item is fake. I have done this a few times.

Yeah, i've reminded people before that because a seller doesn't say an item is real it doesn't mean it doesn't have to be. Selling counterfeit goods is illegal. If i remember i'll contact the seller once he's left feedback.
