Hi guys. After a long time without any luck and loads of modern crap been offered this extensive collection!

Here are the pics on my new Photobucket account - (My other one is playing up! :?

http://s1247.photobucket.com/albums/gg623/jedimaster18/

As you can see its a nice collection!

Everything pictured is complete.
The guy also has the following all incomplete (pics coming tommorrow) - AT-AT (Empire Box) Y-Wing (Jedi Box) B-Wing (Jedi Box) Imperial Troop Transporter (Star Wars Box) and Remote Control R2 (Still works) He also has sereval figures preexcuding POTF as he says he recieved these at Christmas 1982/83.
As you can see the jewel is the Palitoy Exclusive Talking R2D2 in Pic 14. :p
A quick google search shows it is rare as rocking horse **** and the fact I have never seen or even knew this existed! A Market value on this piece would be much appriecated! (Clearer pics tommorrow)
As always thanks for all your help! Look forward to your replies 8)

Looks like a nice collection.

I'm not so sure that R2 is as rare as that. Though I could be wrong. I have seen several on eBay, and in fact I found this one that didn't sell...

Many thanks for the reply Gary Interesting! Jim stevenson valued it at £700 and Final Frontier toys wants $795 for a MIB example? It looks Awesome tho!

Anyone else have any idea on the value of this collection?
What do you think to £700 for everything pictured and listed excluding the figures?

Liam

Hey Liam, do these items have inserts and instructions as this will make a considerable difference mate. Just having a skim through and there are some nice bits in there.

I agree with Gary that the R2 is probably not as rare as you might think but it is certainly a very cool item. Using Jims prices for comparison is not always a great idea. I often find that a majority of his items are overpriced but he does also have some very fairly priced bits. Its a bit hit and miss IMO.

With regards to £700 for the lot I think that would sit quite well. Depends also whether you are looking to keep the items for yourself or to sell on.

Sorry Im not much help but if you let me know if the boxes have inserts and instructions and I can give you a fair estimate.

Hey Chris :) Many Thanks for you response!

The pictured items are all complete and direct from the seller " The boxes have no inserts I have most if not all the instructions and the decals are on the items although some need sticking down again."

Hope this helps! 8)
