I just got back from Spain yesterday but when I was there I found a shop that sold junk from 20 years back.
Yep, you know where this is going but its not a happy ending.
It had german football shirts with bierhoff, liverpool with owen (all fake) and a load of tate I remember from when I was in spain 24 years back. Everything had a layer of dust.
I tore the place apart looking for star wars but didnt find a thing. Id dreams of a Poch Fett.
The Place was in Calella about an hour outside Barcelona and in a side street off the main road coming away from the beach on the hotel end of town.
My question is has anyone ever found a shop that sells old items and thought theyd have a go? Id be interested to find out

Damn you! I already posted before you edited in the OT section!!!! :p

Everytime I stumble upon a shop with "old" stuff I check mostly everything,
last year I found an old hidden toy shop in sweden, I found lots of old Dragonball toys, Gameboy games, Super Nintendo games, TMNT toys,
but sadly no vintage star wars....For a minute there I thought I'd struck gold....

Ha ha, sorry I posted it in the wrong section to begin with.
This is the first time Ive found a shop selling junk that old but Ill keep looking. To be honest I dont think it was a proper shop, prices were more expensive than the beach front, it was probably a front for dealing or an explanation of why theyve 20 years old stock that cant be shifted. :p

I don't know why, but the username Dinner Squadron cracks me up, everytime I read it.

Carry on :?

Every time I see this thread. I think you have seen some SW on the TV Programme

Me too, that's why I keep on clicking...

I did see a Star Wars haul on Bargain Hunt, Cash in the Attic or one of those programmes once. They took it to a vintage shop somewhere to sell it all, it was the home owners brothers collection, she sold it all for a few hundred quid while he was travelling in Australia. If that was me the 'few hundred' quid might have covered the funeral costs once I got home and killed her!

Best things iv found in charity shops , are off hand i can think about ...

in 2001 i was in a warehouse in Edinburgh that stored all the charity shop stuff until it was handed out to the shops me and my pal would rip it apart i found loads of rare 12" singles vintage 80s and 70s toys girls world etch a' sketch six million dollar man games , Kate bush the whole story 1994 edition official UK videocd edition best thing i found was this odd doll i looked at it and though what the **** is that it was in a plastic case with her on the front i had it 7 years before i found out what she was it was a ****in 1972 Blythe doll happy days also found loads of pre cert videos charity shops now are pish
