To all,
First, I want to thank you for letting me come here to address this issue. It appears it has gotten a bit out of hand rather quickly, but I promise you there was never any illicit intentions.
Many of you know me, but for those who don't; My name is Jordan Hembrough. I own Hollywood Heroes. I have been a dealer for 25 years and specialize in vintage Star Wars prototypes. Over the past year, I have been hosting a show called Toy Hunter, which keep me on the road literally 20 out of each month. Needless to say... I am busy.
Kenner Babe approached me about a year ago asking questions about the hobby. She posted on RS and showed interest in the genre. Her father is also a collector. Over the past year I have gotten to know her, and she has shown a great interest in learning the "dealer side" of the hobby. She was always intent on knowing "why something sold " and "how did you find this?" Over the past year we can grown to be friends.
Last month I came across a set of Palitoy cards and was fortunate enough to purchase them all at once. I will admit that I have not kept on the market, and have been unable to attend to much of the business like I once did. The show and promotion has kept me busy.
Last week, Kenner Babe asked if I needed any help either listing auctions or doing any type of research of toys... and I took her up on the offer. I asked her to check out the prices and sales of 12-Back Palitoys.
Her eagerness to prove herself may have gotten a bit out of control. I understand that some may have been concerned about the sale,, and it is understandable. The questions and research were intended to be preliminary research on the set... not an invitation to immediate sale.
I truly want to apologize to the community for the confusion this may have caused.
And to be clear, Kenner Babe is one of three interns working for me.. so please understand that while a younger collector... she is legit. She may lack the necessary tact or proper diction that comes from years in the field.. but her passion for collecting is raw and pure. In years to come, I do think she will be an excellent dealer.
And finally, she is my friend. So, when somebody makes a jab at her or insults her intelligence or age, I take it personally.
I welcome any email to me about the collection. My E-mail is [email protected]. And, I will provide better photos.
For the record, those commenting about the Luke are correct. The bubble split along the side and the footer fell out. It is on the bottom of the box in which the collection came. All others are sealed, albiet some are slight warped. Nothing that a good "Book pressing" cant take care of.
Again, thank you for letting me come here. I intend on coming over to the UK next year, as much of family is in Nottingham and London. I truly hope I can meet many of you in person.
I will admit right now, that I don't normally come to this forum. I rare have time to look at the Net much these days. If anyone would like to E-mail me directly, I welcome and opportunity to speak to you.

I hope lesson learnt on this one Jordan. God only knows what the thought process was behind all this. Arrogance, cluelessness, naivety... i'm not sure but i think in future it's best you conduct your own business on the forums in future. This clearly isn't the way to do things. (please read though kenner_babes posts if you're still unsure on that). I could see telling a teenage intern to sign up to vintage forums to make contacts learn a little about the hobby and it's complexities. Maybe even purchase and then sell a few items of their own either from the forums or ebay but getting a 13 year old girl, completely clueless and inexperienced to broker deals/drum up interest for ultra rare, "big money" items is insane. Really questionable move on so many levels. God only knows what you were thinking.

Are we really ok with a 13 year old signing up to a forum with the words - '****, ****, ****, cock-sucker, arse-hole, prick, dick, rim-licker, butt-****er, cum-guzzler, tit-wank' used so freely. Not the mention the presence of a topic called "Worst Sexual Experience" which i know i'll never recover from reading and i'm pretty twisted.

Quite a long statement that still leaves alot unanswered. I am sure most of the sheep will eat it up. It was poor form on your part. She continues to post non-sense and it still going on about seeking Palitoy items. She called another collector an asshole and seems to need quite a bit of guidance.

I don't think it is a big deal that he doesn't do his own sales. I know I have initiated a deal with a seller (Andrew Boscardin) and was moved on to their rep (James Gallo) and it was fine. Of course the two people are top notch.
Jordan as someone who is willing to give you the benefit of the doubt the optics of this looks horrible. My main concern is not the suggested pedophilia conspircacy theory but more her maturity level and how she has created and handled this whole fiasco and has now put a dent in your reputation. I'm sure 98% of the people who are even looking at this wouldn't be in on this set but I think the majority of them would be in on some future sales you might have. I have no issues dealing with young people but this one just doesn't seem to have the maturity yet (especially for a multi thousand dollar deal), sorry. If you told me to deal with her for somthing I'd have to really want it and you'd have to give me a heckuva a deal otherwise I'd politely walk away. I can't imagine anyone spending +$20k would have time for this either.

Yeah i think the thing that has been in question is WHO he got to do his deals for him. I think everyone with an issue with the situation has made that clear all along. An experienced rep or at least a grown up with some... any experience of the hobby and a basic grasp of how things are done is a different matter and a minimum requirement. Surly?
